Been doing makeup for over two years now, but I’ve never practiced or got into men’s grooming or male makeup. The idea of it is just out of my comfort zone and I just doubted for most of the time that I could ever really do it.
But, recently I’ve been able to do some men’s grooming thanks to some friends who are willing to trust me on their photo shoots and got me as their makeup artist despite my inexperienced hands on this aspect of makeup.

This is my work and personally I think It’s not as bad as I thought it would turn out, but what do you guys think?
The same rules of makeup apply on men, but of course theirs would need to be more subtle in such a way that you’re just perfecting their skin and trying to make the highlights and contours as natural and seamless as possible, at least when that’s what’s required on the shoot 😉
Please let me know what you think of my work and/or please give me tips if you have any on male makeup/men’s grooming because I’m currently still learning about it 🙂
