Mini Review: Makeup Forever Aqua Brow

Finally gave in to people’s recommendation on the Makeup Forever Aqua Brow, and I have to say that the results were amazing.

It is no secret that Makeup Forever makes great products, and right now, this adds to my list of favorite things from them.
I’m using the shade 25 and I think it’s the perfect ashy, taupy brown that I love for my eyebrows. It was kind of intimidating at first because it was creamy-liquid type product and it was very pigmented. But it was very blendable and fairly easy to work with.

I felt like for something intensely pigmented as this, it turned out to be kind of flexible. I was able to diffuse the inner part of the eyebrows with a spoolie, with ease, and I was able to layer the product in areas where I needed to patch some scarring, and like I said, it clung to those areas really well, which most of the time I can only expect from pencils.

Now, this product claims to be waterproof, and I did try to splash my face with water when I wore this for the first time yesterday. It didn’t slide off or run like mascara, but it also didn’t keep the same color intensity. I didn’t really mind that because I have no plans of dancing in the rain or swimming with this product.  10634154_10153102111929196_827380421_n

The important part to me was that it applied easily, it stayed in tact throughout the day, the pigmentation was great, and it didn’t smudge or feather.
This product can be a little pricey but it is well worth it. This could go from Php 950.00 to Php 1200.00 in the Philippines from the Makeup Forever stores or from online sellers.

I got mine from @nicolettemakeup on instagram, she’s got a great range of products at great prices.

That’s it for me and this quick review on the Makeup Forever Aqua Brow. I hope that this is helpful to some of you. I will see you all again next time.
