Blogged: Color Correcting and Kohl Rimmed Neutral Eyes

First of all! Super excited to finally figure out a lighting setup that I feel is very suitable for viewing and sharing makeup looks. However, I may still need to tweak a few settings on the camera for next time, so that some areas of my face will not be over-exposed (or maybe I should back away from the camera a bit?) and I’m also considering the angle I’m taking the video from, don’t worry friends, I’ll figure it out. šŸ˜€

Moving on! On today’s blog and video, I wanna share with you guys how I would normally correct my skin discolorations and imperfections underneath my foundation. Now, I know I said “normally” but this is only when I treat those discolorations. On a daily basis, they are not this intense, but there are days and times, like for example, before or after my period or during stressful times, where my skin just acts up, breaks out and just goes crazy on me. Might as well take the opportunity and share with you how you can counter that šŸ™‚ Positivity forever!

I find that correcting on a daily basis is very tedious and it’s just too much on your face to wear, again, on a daily basis. I know, we don’t always have bad days, so for us who struggle when our skin starts to bitch on us, here’s a demo on how to treat Redness, Dark Circles, Veins and my personal technique on cancelling out pimple marks.

I forgot to take a before and after photo to compare but you’ll see in the demo as it progresses anyway. One thing I wanna mention though is, for your hygiene concerns, those pimples have already dried and left, they are just the spots the left behind. Also, the correcting palette I’m using is for my personal use and regardless, I’ve swiped the palette off on a separate mixing plateĀ for me to use in this video, so I don’t double dip on them.

Now, that that’s been said, here’s the complete list of products I’ve used on this video:

FACE
The Body Shop Vitamin E Face Mist
Graftobian HD Glamour Creme Corrector Palette
NYX Full Coverage Foundation in Beige
L’oreal True Match Foundation in N7 (I don’t know why the N range works for me, but Iike the G range better)
RCMA No Color Powder
I also spray some MAC Fix+ at the end to pro long the wear of the makeup

Eyes
NYX Eyebrow Gel in Chocolate (Although, in the video I showed Brunette)
Limited Edition Tarte Cosmetics Rainforest After Dark Palette
Too Faced Lashgasm

Lips
Milk & Co Matte lipstick
Make Up Forever Lipgloss 8

Here are someĀ photos of the look that I did.

That’s it for me and this blog about color correcting and Neutral Eye Look.

I hope that this was helpful to some of you. Thanks and I’ll see you again next time!

XO,
Gia
