Apart from wipes, an umbrella, and wallet. On days I’m not lugging around a makeup station, I bring with me a pretty basic set of stuff.
🔘 Planner – I particularly like this year’s Planner because the Monthly overview has squares big enough to have detailed short scribbles.
Others like to keep their schedules in their phones, tablets and other electric devices. I’m the girl that likes to write down reminders, post them on sticky notes and stuff like that. For some reason, I remember stuff better when I write them down ✌😕
🔘 Umbrella – in this country, we don’t only use the umbrella for the rain, we use it for the sun, too! It’s an absolutely wonderful thing to use on top of using a daily SPF! I use a portable size so that it fits in my bag.
🔘 Business Cards – You never know who you bump into. Who knows? It’s always convenient to have a business card!
🔘 My Retouch kit – when I step out of the house, I’m pretty confident whatever I put on will last me the entire day, but when it’s rainy (and it’s specially humid) I make sure I bring my MAC Select Sheer Pressed or my most recent rediscovery, my TheBalm Sexy Mama. It’s basically a translucent powder that sets and mattifies your liquid or cream makeup. I’d like to say it’s almost invisible, but this is best for those with light-medium to medium skintones, otherwise a little color may show.
The LA Girl HD Conceal (in Pure Beige) is my Holygrail concealer. It’s a lot like the Nars Creamy Concealer, but only 1/8 the price. It’s what I use on days I’m not wearing foundation, and because this particular shade is my exact shade match, I bring it with me everyday in case I wipe off my chin (makeup) or around my nose.
Even if I’m very likely not to need to retouch my eyebrows, I’ve always been fearful of accidentally rubbing off the end(s) of my eyebrows, which is why I always bring my Holygrail Make Up For Ever Aqua Brow (and my Zoeva 322) I guarantee you though, even the sweat and humidity doesn’t break this product. just a precaution! 😉
I’ve fallen in love all over again with the Maybelline Great Lash Mascara. For some reason I think the formula is better and it’s easier to wash off even if it’s water-proof. Great for summer!
My lips are either bare or barely there lately, so I always have the Supergoop lip balm with me or my MAC Velvet Teddy.
